Another FKK beach in Germany can be found at Cospudener See in Saxony, south of Leipzig.

Cospudener See is part of the Leipzig New Lake District, former open-pit mining areas that are now a popular recreation area.

The FKK beach is officially designated at the northern shore of the lake, but nudism is tolerated at other spots around the lake as well.

At Cospudener See, you can choose between sandy beach, natural beach, and spacious sunbathing areas, protected by several trees.

You can ride a bike or rollerblade around the lake on a paved path, and thus enjoy a lovely day around the Cospudener See.

Among the trees, you can see some attractions from the nearby amusement park Belantis, which is just a few kilometers away.

The only designated FKK beach in the Chiemgau can be found directly at Feldwieser Winkel on Chiemsee, the largest lake in Bavaria.

The FKK beach Schwögler at the lake is subject to a fee, but you can enjoy being freely nude all day and engage in various activities.

You have an approximately 800-meter long and fine sandy beach as well as well-maintained sunbathing areas available.

You will also find showers, toilets, dining options, and a children's playground.

If you don't just want to work on your tan and hop into the water of Chiemsee, you can also play volleyball or table tennis at this FKK beach in Germany.

Open-air chess and a bocce court are also waiting for you.

The Zieselmaar between Kerpen and Hürth in North Rhine-Westphalia is a leftover lake from lignite mining and is now completely leased by the local FKK club 'Familiensportbund Erftland Ville e. V.'

The entire area, including the beach, sports, and children's playgrounds, is exclusively reserved for textile-free guests.

So you can move freely all day.

Outside the season, the area is used for sports events.

The club also organizes nudist races and other events.

In the area, you can play volleyball, try basketball or table tennis, and take a walk around the approximately five-hectare swimming lake.

Sanitary facilities and dining services round off the offer.

The water of the lake is colored red-orange due to its high iron content, which is why you can see only a few centimeters deep.

Diving is therefore not possible in the lake, but it is perfect for swimming.

Located right on the border with Schleswig-Holstein in Hamburg, you'll find the Summer Pool Volksdorf, operated by the Hamburg Association for Nudism and Family Sports.

However, you don't necessarily have to bathe nude in this natural pool; 'clothed' bathers are also welcome on the beach.

It is the only FKK pool in Hamburg.

You can take a few laps in the natural lake or engage in sports.

In addition to its role as a nudism association, you can also participate in various sports offered by the club.

At the natural lake, you will find a sunbathing area under trees, showers, toilets, and a snack bar, as well as a sauna.

This is available to all visitors during the bathing season from May to September.

In the winter months, it is only available to club members.

To avoid awkwardness or misunderstandings while bathing nude on German beaches, we've put together a few FKK rules, a small FKK guide if you will.

The first rule for nude bathing is clear:

At most designated FKK beaches in Germany, clothed bathers are not welcome and are often asked to please undress.

If you are still unsure whether you want to show yourself completely nude in front of others, it is better to choose a mixed beach, i.e. one that allows both textiles and nudity.

On Usedom, one of Germany's FKK paradises, you'll find several mixed beaches.

It's particularly important in FKK to not confuse nudity with sex or eroticism.

No one wants to be stared at, scrutinized from head to toe, or approached in a suggestive manner - especially not on a naturist beach.

Of course, one might glance around or cannot help looking at others at first.

However, you should control yourself and focus better on the sea and the beautiful landscape.

In times of smartphones, selfies, and social media, it's quite normal to extensively photograph yourself and your surroundings.

However, you should ensure that only you or the landscape is visible in the snapshot.

Best to pack your phone away after a few photos, because many people are sensitive to constant snapping at the FKK beach.

This rule applies to you twice, as you don't want to end up naked in someone else's vacation photos or even online.

Even if the beach is crowded, it's best to keep a respectful distance from your neighbor.

No one would want to cuddle with a stranger at a textile beach. Nudists feel the same way.

A towel is mandatory, not just to keep sand off some body parts, but also for hygiene reasons.

For example, if you take a seat on a chair at a beach bar, you should place the towel between your skin and the seat.

And even if you're walking to a snack bar or restaurant, it's better to wrap a towel around yourself.
